Field Health Programs

Field Health Programs

The Funds has a staff of nurses, social workers, and In-Field Representatives in the coalfields to help in many ways. We want you to be aware of the valuable services that are a part of your health benefits and know how to use them to improve your overall health.

Reaching Out to You

Funds staff may call you on the phone or visit you in your home to get to know you, answer your questions, and help you get the most from your Funds’ benefits. We can help with:

  • Understanding your benefits
  • Completing applications and updating forms
  • Understanding your health condition(s) and medications
  • Planning for your future
    • Completing your Living Will and Medical Power of Attorney
  • Finding, navigating, and connecting to health and community resources in your area
  • Arranging transportation services
  • Support for caregiving
  • Transition from hospital to home
  • Getting telephonic support

Funds Programs and Activities

Funds staff may sponsor programs or activities in your area such as Health Fairs, Vaccination Clinics, or Meet and Greet events. We mail fliers to invite you to local events.
